John & Samantha : Engagement Session

The popular accessory for this season…dogs. John and Sam’s newly adopted puppy Gus joined us for our afternoon shoot and even though he is only a puppy he was such a good boy! So was John :) …I kept promising him only one more shot, one more pose…he had patience with me and the reward is some awesome photos!! Enjoy!!

Lauren & Ricky : Engagement Session

I was so happy when I heard these two got engaged and I was even happier when they asked me to take some photos to remember the special occasion. Ricky proposed on the beach, by a lighthouse at sunset…this might not have been the exact location where he proposed but 3 out of 4 isn’t bad. I loved loved loved the props Lauren brought along!!! It gave the session a personal touch :) Mother nature also brought some of her own props…when we first arrived we were having an intense windstorm, this made us not so happy…but then she redeemed herself with this beautiful sunset! Mother Nature forgiven! I hope you enjoy your photos, I am thinking some prints for the new house are a must!

Julie & Mark : Engagement Session

It’s been a while since the blog has had an update, I am slightly embarrassed to say how long it has actually been…but I have been so busy shooting that we are finally getting caught up with the blogging. This week is blog week and we have some amazing things coming your way. We are going to start off with the gorgeous Julie and her handsome fiance Mark! These two were troopers as we battled some strong afternoon sun…lucky for us we found some cozy shade spots :) You two are awesome and I can’t wait for the wedding!

Melissa & Trevor : Engagement Session

Melissa and Trevor are a couple I met from one of my past brides, so when they contacted me about their wedding I already knew they were amazingly awesome. What I didn’t know was how adorable they would be to photograph. We headed over to Wadsworth Falls State Park in Middletown for some romantic waterfall photos…if your idea of romantic photos was to be sharing the spot light with a little old fisherman then you were in luck. However for us this was not the look we were going for. At first we shot around the old man and then we politely asked him to move. He either did not understand us or he just did not care…the two feet that he moved was barely enough to tightly crop him. After joking about the fisherman in our pictures we finished up and headed over to Wesleyan to finish our session. You both totally rocked and I can not wait for the upcoming wedding!!

Juliana & Ryan : Engagement Session Newport, RI

A unique location + a beautiful couple + a little music = Juliana and Ryan’s amazing engagement session. When Juliana requested taking photos at the Newport Art Museum I was totally psyched. I love art and love taking pictures so it was a great combination, plus who would not want to photograph these two! Juliana is a singer ( we will get more into that in her own portrait session post ) and Ryan plays guitar, which makes these two even more awesome. We spent hours exploring the museum and finding some awesome places to shoot. I hope you guys had as much fun as I did! I can’t wait for your wedding!!

Brittany & Nick : Engagement Session Milford, CT

A few weeks back Brittany, Nick and I spent the morning walking around in downtown Milford…as we walked they stopped to pose and I snapped away. These two were troopers and were even game for some close snuggly shots…keep in mind downtown Milford can be very busy on a Saturday morning, so when I say they were troopers it is because they had plenty of people watching them! However, the end result was well worth it. Both being extreme Yankee fans we had to show some the team some love during part of our session. We changed it up by heading to a nearby baseball field to complete our session. Here is just a peak at some of the shots from the day. Enjoy guys! I can’t wait for the wedding!

Stephanie and Tim : Engagement Session

First I have to say that I am so so happy to photograph this adorable couples wedding…I know Stephanie from the days when her and my sister were little kids on the playground at Holy Trinity School. When she asked me to come meet with them about photographing their wedding I was super excited. Things got even better when Stephanie mentioned having Mocha, their adorable dog, in some of the photos!! I had a blast with all three of you :) hope you enjoy your photos!!

Kristen and Matt : Engagement Session

When the groom-to-be asks you if he can bring props for pictures you know you are in for a fun time…When Kristen, Matt and I met for our final wedding meeting we decided to do a mini engagement shoot to prep for the big day. If this was any sign for how the wedding is going to be, we are going to have a blast. They were full of giggles and smiles..completely in love. Here are a few pictures from our meeting, I can’t wait for the wedding!!

Chris and Rachael Engagement Session

They say ‘beauty is in the eye of the beholder’… well if you do not think this couple is beautiful you may be blind! These two kick major A**. Not only are they both gorgeous, but Rachael is a natural in front of the camera. Lucky for us the rain held off long enough to finish our session at the  Essex Steam Train and Riverboat. This location had everything they were looking for…safe train tracks, vintage trains,  and plenty of awesome backdrops for pictures. Thanks to Chris for helping me and my prego belly climb in/out of the trains :) You two are awesome, I can’t wait for the wedding!!

Marissa and Mike

So cute, so happy, so in love..The prediction for this past Saturdays forecast was rain, rain, and more rain…we might have fought some wing, but not one drop of rain fell on this engagement shoot. Meet Marissa and Mike. It’s quite clear how  head over heels these two are for each other, just look at those smiles. Lucky fot me I had the pleasure of capturing some awesome shots of them. Enjoy the photos! You both look amazing!
